Re: beer money
As Scott_d says, the Trustpilot reviews do not make pretty viewing. Seems they'll close people's positions out regardless of whether they are on margin call or not and generally aren't a particularly well run platform. Haven't used them myself so can't comment but the reviews aren't good.
And what the fuck have pumpkins got to do with any of this? Sounds Micky Mouse to me.

What’s a pumpkin got to do with this? Is it like a Halloween special offer thing?

Re: beer money
for each person you get a pumpkin that contains either 10,20 or 40 shares for each person.

Serious Stuff.

Or is it Bears? Do Bears like Pumpkin?

Re: beer money
You get six for signing up plus 2 when you complete a first trade which you can just buy a random cheap fractional share and cash it after , so minimum is 40 plus atm for each person you get a pumpkin that contains either 10,20 or 40 shares for each person but that expires next week

Re: beer money
Our verdict
After making its mark with retail investors in the US and Asia, Webull is turning its attention to the UK market.

When joining the platform, we found it relatively easy to sign up and get verified. The Webull investing app works well, even if it is somewhat cluttered and confusing. We weren’t so bullish about the fact you can only trade US stocks, which means you’ll always end up paying an FX fee when converting from sterling. But the lack of a platform fee is a positive. There are small commissions to pay when trading stocks, listed by the firm as 2.5 basis points, which basically means 0.025% of your trade value.

Webull will appeal to investors looking to trade US stocks for a low cost, but the platform is quite restrictive in most aspects. Unfortunately, there’s no variety of accounts available (no ISAs, pensions, or junior accounts). Webull might need to offer more to differentiate itself from the zero-commission platforms available to UK investors, such as eToro, Freetrade, and XTB.

Best for: Stock research

Pros
No platform fee
Low commission of 0.025%
Zero minimum deposit ($5 min investment)
Fractional shares
Extended trading hours

Cons
Only US stocks available
Limited range of asset types
No tax-efficient accounts
The app is rather overcrowded
Always have to pay an FX fee

Re: beer money
I got shown it by a friend , I was dubious but signed up added the 1.50 and got my shares and cashed out fine, no one has to do it it’s just there if someone wants some extra beer money , most of these trading apps run refer a friend schemes they want to suck you into trading

I googled Webull... on trustpilot.

Reviews were not great.

Re: beer money
It seems odd that by depositing £1.50 you can get free share from £40-£2000 ? How is it decided what and how many free shares you get?
